New Patients
Nothing satisfies us more than watching a child grow into a healthy, well adjusted adult.
Whether you are expecting a new baby, have recently moved to our area, or are looking for a new doctor for your children, we thank you for trusting us with your child’s health. We welcome new patients starting at birth to age 18 years. Established patients can be seen up to age 22 years.
Choosing a pediatrician for your child is an important decision. It is crucial that your pediatrician’s philosophy on health and wellness aligns closely with that of your family. Only then can shared decision-making be based on mutual respect.

At Desert Bloom Pediatrics, mutual trust and respect are essential to the relationships we seek to build with our patients and families.
Desert Bloom Pediatrics requires that all patients adhere to the CDC-recommended immunization schedule endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), except in the rare instance of a medical contraindication to immunizations. Please read our complete vaccination policy.
We strive for a welcoming and judgment-free environment, and do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We hope to provide a safe and caring environment for all families, because we understand that families come in many forms.
Congratulations! At Desert Bloom Pediatrics, we share your joy and enthusiasm and look forward to partnering with you on the exciting journey of raising a child. We offer prenatal consults, a supportive team, and first-rate medical care for your new family member.
Dr. Garza rounds on newborns at the following hospitals:
When registering, let the staff know that Dr. Garza is your PCP, and she will see your baby during your hospitalization. If you are giving birth at a different hospital, another physician will round on your baby, and you will follow up with Dr. Garza after discharge. The doctor seeing your baby will tell you when to schedule this appointment, which is usually 2-5 days after discharge. Call our office as soon as you are discharged so we can schedule this appointment.
